Exhibition curator against keeping the 2024 Olympic Rings on the Eiffel Tower

The curator of the exhibition Eiffel – Higher and Higher, Savin Yeatman-Eiffel, also the acting Vice-President of the Association des Descendants de Gustave Eiffel, expressed in the French and International Press his opposition to permanently keeping, or unnecessarily prolonging, the Olympic rings on the facade of the tower of his great-great-great-grand-father: “It was wonderful during the games, but the tower is not meant to be the billboard for another organization, no matter how prestigious it may be. It should be returned as soon as possible to its original state, and to being the symbol of Paris worldwide”.
